Job Title:
Yard / Operations Foreman
Reporting to:
Operations Manager
Job Purpose:
To take ownership of the soil processing and green waste recycling yard and machine operator management.
Key Duties:
- Keep the green waste recycling yard clear, tidy and in good working order
- Manage machine operators in yard
- Maintain bagged and loose stocks of products in the yard
- Telehandler operator
- General yard duties
- Management of stock levels
- Ensuring Lorries are loaded quickly and efficiently
- Maintaining and daily checks on plant operated
- Health and safety of operators in and visitors to yard
Key Competencies:
- Driving licence preferred
- Must have telehandler experience
- Good working knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Able to work under own initiative but also a team player
- Willing to muck in where needed
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
From £15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Worthing, BN12 6NZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
