The key focus of the role is to complete eye examinations/contact lens appointments, and drive conversions and the average order value through delivering excellent customer service, whilst trading Safe and Legally.
**Key Responsibilities:

- Examine the eyes of patients in accordance with the CO guidelines and the GOC
- Offer help and advice to patients choosing frames, lenses, contacts, etc
- Ensure record cards and referral letters are completed to GOC guidelines
- Ensure a sufficient level of accuracy for first time refractions to reduce the number of retests
- Ensure handovers are carried out competently to relevantly trained members of staff
- Keep up to date and comply with the General Optical Council Regulatory Framework
- Conducting Safe and Legal record checks
