Retail Sales Assistant

22.5 hours per week (3 days over 7, excluding Sundays)

St Leonard's Retail are excited to announce that they will be opening a new shop in Malton in Spring 2024.

Located in a prime location in the town centre, the shop will be situated in a large unit and will be fitted to the highest shop fitting and merchandising standards. This is an exciting opportunity to help with the opening of this new store


As a Retail Sales Assistant for our new shop in Malton, you will assist the Shop Manager/ Deputy Shop Manager in managing all shop activities so collectively you can maximise financial contribution for the Hospice.

This is a key role within the Hospice retail operation, contributing towards fundraising budgets.

Stamina and a good sense of humour are paramount, together with a creative eye, excellent display skills and innovative ideas to boost shop takings.


Basic administration and PC skills are preferable, but most importantly, is the ability to lead and motivate a team of volunteers.

A calm and logical approach; together with problem solving skills is required.
