Business Analyst - Insurance Sector

London, Bolton or Leeds

£80K + 5% bonus

We have an exciting new opportunity for a business analyst to Join Resource Solutions as a Workforce Consultant.

As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Resource Solutions and will be deployed on an interim orproject basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.


Job Summary


The BluePrint programme is built upon the foundation of transformational changes to the Commercial Operating Model that will deliver the planned GWP, Loss Ratio and Expense Ratio benefits committed to in our strategic business plan.

These changes will bedelivered through a combination of process, people, organisation and technology change that will come together to embody the new operating model.

The programme will transform the way that AXA do business, creating new underwriting system workbench.


Delivery will be structured into releases formed of a number of SCRUMS and focusing on delivering a new way of working for the AXA Commercial Business.

The Business Analyst will work for a Scrum master to translate the vision and delivery components intodetailed user stories that are clearly traceable to the key changes for the BluePrint programme.


Required Skills:

Insurance background knowledge or financial services

Knowledge of Agile delivery tooling - e.g. Jira / Confluence, ADO

  • Ability to adapt and reprioritise quickly to ensure that any emerging risks are appropriately managed
  • Collaborative analyst with demonstrable experience of engaging with business teams to drive change
  • Exceptional networking and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence and exercise good judgement
  • Comfortable to challenge senior stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Maintains up to date understanding of industry best practices
  • Continuous improvement mindset Experience:
  • Proven experience of working on large scale programmes within financial services
  • Experience with understanding and translating complex business requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of o Being a Selfstarter o Resilience and grit o Problem management / resolution o Remote teamworking.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Accurately and efficiently document business requirements / user stories in AXA tool of choice.
  • Mapping of process flows to support user stories.
  • Target Operating Model
