Corporate Governance Officer

Location:
Homebased, with frequent travel to both Guildford office and shared workspace in central London (Borough)

Contract:
Full-time (37.5hrs per week), Permanent


Salary:
£24,840 - £30,360 per annum

Cycling UK is on a mission to inspire a million more people onto their bikes, and we are looking for a Governance and Corporate Administration Officer to join our dynamic team.


About the Role


The role will support the strategic engagement with the Board of Trustees, supporting the Director of Organisational Effectiveness and Finance in all governance matters, and working closely with the Programme management and governance team, Board, the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the effective governance of the charity.


You will have excellent communication, motivational, and relationship-building skills with a high standard of literacy, and an excellent eye for detail.

Experience working with Trustees and Senior Managers in the charity sector will give you an advantage, as well as a good understanding of a governance framework.


Focus on gearing your supporting statement to exemplify how your skills and experience match the requirements of the role, directly referring to the person specification.

This enables the selection panel to assess your relative strengths against the specified criteria.


You may also have experience in the following: Governance Co-ordinator, Corporate Governance, Governance Coordinator, Governance Assistant, PA, Personal Assistant, EA, Executive Assistant, Governance Administrator, Assistant Company Secretary, Junior Company Secretary, Graduate Company Secretary, Governance Officer, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, NFP, Not for Profit etc.
