Operations Director

Education Group, Central London (Hybrid Working)

£100,000 - £120,000+ Bonus + benefits (12-month FTC or permanent available)


The Company
An Operations Director is sought by a leading international education group.

This long-established organization provides learning for professional membership bodies around the world and is responsible for service delivery in B2B and B2C markets.

Integral toon-going success is customer satisfaction and continual operational improvements across the group.

As a result, the group seeks an Operations Director reporting to the CEO to manage a large team and ensure the organization embraces the transformation and changethat will modernize its customer and back-office operations.


Key Responsibilities of the Operations Director

  • Understand key metrics for the organisation and introduce KPI's to ensure a customerfirst focused mindset
  • Instil a mentality of continual improvement within the team and ensuring that change is embraced across the group
  • Build and maintain strong relationships ensuring key partners across various functions and the SLT are involved in vital activities
  • Ensure appropriate levels of monitoring and reporting are ready for all operational activity. Focus on the performance of the business and ensure good rapid customer outcomes
  • Create a strong sense of accountability and allow ideas and strong performers across the team to become more visible

Skills & Attributes of the Operations Director

  • Experience within either an education business, subscriptionbased B2B or B2C group or membership body would be highly advantageous
  • Evidence of professional development in your career (such as a professional qualification, postgraduate education or equivalent) would be viewed very positively
  • Demonstrable experience of developing customer service teams and enhancing business reputation
  • Proven success at introducing metrics / KPI's to teams and communicating their importance to the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills, an effective communicator, credible and confident to influence at all levels
  • With strong analytical skills you will be confident in both producing and discussing management information and status updates at Board level
  • Problemsolving mindset, inquisitive, able to develop creative approaches and solutions
  • You have a diligent approach and are ambitious, motivated and results focused
