We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and diligent individual to join our Accounts department as an Invoicing Assistant.

You will be working within a 24 hour, 7 day a week Aviation Logistics company and its subsidiary Commercial Vehicle Rental company servicing London Heathrow.

As an Invoicing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our accounting and finance function within the organisation.

On a day-to-day basis you will be liaising with your co-workers, customers and management teams to ensure accurate invoicing and billing to our customers.


Mixed Freight Services Ltd engages in the transportation, handling, and screening of Import, Export and General Cargo within the United Kingdom.

Days and Hours of Work:


  • Monday to Friday.
  • 40 hour week.
  • 08:00am to 17:00pm (including a 1 hour unpaid lunch break).

Salary:


Holidays:


  • 28 days per year, including 8 bank holidays.

Pensions:


  • NEST employer 3%, Employee 5%

Duties will include:


  • Consistent and accurate use of our technological operational systems and standard operating procedures.
  • Updating customers with any additional charges such as waiting time etc.
  • Addressing any disputes or invoice queries from customers/clients.
  • Scanning and processing any relevant documentation onto our accounting and billing systems.
  • Data entry involving multiple company operating systems.
  • Ensuring data entered in relation to customer billing is correct.
  • Ensuring accurate data entry onto the company sales ledger.
  • Actively communicating with customers to provide POD's.
  • Creating a good rapport and longlasting relations with valued customers.
  • Communicating with the team to maintain service standards and promote excellent customer service.
  • Developing productive relationships between departments, colleagues and customer relations.
  • Organising and filing company documents accordingly.
  • Reporting to the Invoicing Manager.
  • Assisting with departmental invoice runs.
  • General administrative tasks.
  • Learning and implementing company pricing tariffs.
  • Complying with Health, Safety and security at work.

£9.00-£10.50 per hour
