Day to Day responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Bid Manager to prepare and submit RFI, RFP, and Tender responses, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Conduct research to gather relevant information and data to support bid responses.
  • Maintain an uptodate database of standard responses to commonly asked questions, information security, and product inquiries to streamline the bid response process.
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as Sales, Product Development, and Legal, to gather necessary information and insights for bids.
  • Support the Bid Manager in identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to bid submissions.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the bid process aligns with company objectives, values, and compliance standards.
  • Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to enhance bid strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of bidrelated activities, including proposal versions, client feedback, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in bid management, proposal writing, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and document management software is preferred.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to gather relevant information and data for bid responses.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Selfmotivated and proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability.

While this role will be worked predominantly on an office or hybrid basis, we are looking for someone who is able to attend the Southampton office on a minimum of 1 day a month basis.

Our interview process:

Benefex understands the need to have a fast and efficient process, the below will all be completed in the shortest time possible.

***Initial informal call with the People team - 15 minutes

Online tests in numeracy and verbal reasoning

  • Interview with the recruiting manager and a member of the team 45 minutes
Final interview with the Director. 15 minutes - General Q&A, culture, and questions about us.
