About the Opportunity


We are looking for a new Director of Sales, focused on channel and indirect business across our Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Along with the Managing Director, this role will be responsible for the strategy, structure and professional management of sales outcomes for the channel and indirect sales teams.

This includes establishing and executing the regional channel sales strategy, aligning the strategy to Tait's global strategy, and managing sales team members to achieve revenue and overhead targets.

This role can be based in either Swavesey, UK, or Vienna, Austria. Hybrid working options are available. Frequent travel within the UK / Europe is expected.


Key outcomes of this role will be to:

  • In consultation with the Managing Director for the region, develop and implement an annual regional sales plan, which defines the target business pursuits in the region and outlines the strategy for how to win those opportunities efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure the region meets its annual sales, orders, and profit targets in line with the annual regional sales plan.
  • Focus on the direction, leadership, systems and processes needed to put the EMEA sales strategy into action.
  • Manage and grow a regional sales team that aligns Tait's business with the customers, markets and opportunities required to deliver the company's business targets.

What You'll Bring:


We are looking for a charismatic people leader with a track record of leading sales teams to achieve and exceed their targets.


  • Experience developing strong commercial sales strategies and the ability to flex and adapt that strategy to stay ahead of the market.
  • Proven track record of successful customer relationship management.
  • Relevant industry knowledge and experience.
