Location - Manchester

Salary - £22,000 to £24,000

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a Receptionist to work on
- site at Bauhaus, Manchester.


The Receptionist functions as the front line for the Company in their client's building, assisting in all aspects of service delivery, supporting the Building Manager and Senior Management team.

The

Receptionist will be based in, and be directly responsible for, ensuring that the highest standards of management, maintenance and service are maintained, whilst having due regard to expenditure and current legislation.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Promotes a high level of satisfaction among occupier and client by promptly responding to their service requirements.
  • Provides support to Assistant/Building Manager and building occupiers as required.
  • Ensures compliance with the Company minimum standards, policies, and procedures established for the portfolio properties and the business.
  • Communicates with occupiers and clients in a courteous manner and be willing to assist where able, acknowledging your role as the front line ambassador and reflecting the client's image through correct quality service.
  • Receives calls and callers to the property, determines nature of business, and directs them to destination in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Control contractors on site and manage the Permit to Work System as per Company instructions.
  • Maintains the highest standard of building management and cleanliness within the area of responsibility
  • Landlord areas / common parts, and vacant floors and conference rooms.
  • Manages phone calls to the Service Desk.
  • Assists the Assistant/Building Manager in developing a close working relationship with all contractors to ensure they fully understand the Company culture and standards, ensuring a high quality service is delivered.
  • Liaises with the Assistant/Building Manager regarding building repairs/services and report as necessary to tenants.
  • Manages stationery and conference/meeting room sundries sends stationery orders to the
Service Desk once approved by the Building Manager.

  • Maintains role as primary contact for user relative to service requests.
  • Communicates regularly with the building management team and occupiers, providing necessary support and information to the primary user contact.
  • Fulfil the compliance and policy requirements in accordance with Company policies and procedures, and the relevant legislative framework.

Skills and Experience:


  • Previous experience in a similar role [essential].
  • Strong customer service skills and experience [essential].
  • Excellent time management [essential].
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life [essential].
  • Great service delivery, including working in partnership with internal and external individuals
[essential].

  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • A good awareness of Health and Safety legislation and knowledge of environmental protection requirements.
  • IOSH qualified [highly desirable].
  • Able to use own initiative.
  • Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages.
  • Proactive, flexible attitude to changes in the Company, IT systems and the role.
  • Developing self and others, with willingness to learn.

  • A salary of £22,000 to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
