The US CCB targets clients with revenues between $10M - $3B and support a range of financial solutions: treasury and trade solutions; term and working capital financing, and foreign exchange services.

The Business provides specialty lending including Loan Syndications, Asset-Based Lending as well as Cash Management, Trade, Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Derivatives products.

CitiBusiness Online & CitiDirect, Citibank's web-based banking platforms, support a full range of domestic & global transaction and reporting capabilities in a secure environment.


The Role:

CCB business is dramatically transforming its product platforms to deliver the best digital banking platform experience for commercial clients.

We are reimagining how commercial banking is conducted today by digitally enabling key interactions as well as offer clients innovative solutions that increase their efficiency and profitability, and allows them to focus on growing their business.

Co-creation with our clients is an integral part of our CCB platform digital transformation journey. It is a core method to our client-centric product design and development.


The Global Digital Journey Lead will be focused on information & insights journeys using client research to inform strategy, driving towards market trends and new feature development within Gateway.

They will develop CCB persona driven journeys pertaining to information & insights including but not limited to FX dashboard, market insights, industry & peers analysis, which will help the users to view meaningful information, navigate across their multi-product portfolio and staying informed at all different levels of granularity.

They will drive the CitiDirect Commercial Banking FX and Service Portal Journey roadmap through the steps of digitizing, going global, and becoming connected and intelligent.

It will be beneficial As part of our CCB platform digital transformation in partnership with our Technology teams.

The person's primary role will be to leverage Design Thinking principles to create a seamless, simple and intuitive digital experience for our clients' banking journeys.


The Global Digital Journey Lead will actively participate in the development of our digital client information & insights roadmap, produce hypothesis to be validated by User Research Team, translate requirements into product backlog, user feedback into UI / UX design.


The Global Digital Journey Lead will also work closely with senior management, scrum teams and technology leads to align our engagement and activities.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Partners with the CCB Client Experience team to incorporate client discovery throughout the product development lifecycle, lead UI/UX development, including ongoing customer testing, tests & validates hypotheses
  • Drives global product implementation
  • Plans and coordinates product deployment readiness activities for new journeys and subsequent journey enhancements
  • Manage the development of product backlog
  • Provides oversight of user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Manages communications with Citi stakeholders;
  • Drives and inputs into adoption and commercialisation
  • Ensures all necessary approvals are in place
  • Partners with Technology, Business SMEs to validate requirements and ensure solution feasibility
  • Partners with Product Marketing on the Regional Go-ToMarket strategy (e.g. pilot, roll out approach) and Commercialization
