    Job Description

    We are seeking confident and compassionate individuals to support the growth and progress of children in secondary schools within Trafford.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) requirements.
    • Assist in behaviour management, supporting students with challenging behaviour.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop effective strategies for students.
    • Help create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
    • Support and guide students to overcome challenges.

    Requirements:

    • Able to commute to Trafford daily.
    • Prior experience working with adults or young people with SEND needs is highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Great time keeping and hardworking nature.
    • Desire to work in mainstream secondary schools.
    • Passion and drive to positively impact the lives of children.
    • Youth Work or Support Work qualifications are desirable.
    • Prior experience working with vulnerable children or young people for 3 months+.
