Applications are invited from NMC registered nurses and midwives or midwives with the following qualifications to undertake the 12 month Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - School Nursing Course within Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale in conjunction with Salford University commencing September 202- 120 credits at level 6 or evidence of level 6 study within the last 3 years

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
This course will prepare you for a career in school nursing as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse.


The course is a mixture of academic studies and clinical work in a supportive skill mixed team in a defined geographical area working in partnership with children, young people and their families and a variety of voluntary and statutory agencies.
