An exciting opportunity for an adaptable and motivated Buyer to join the purchasing and supply chain team within a fast-growing and environmentally conscious manufacturing company based near Aylesbury.

This is a permanent opportunity offering up to £30kdependent on experience.

Role responsibilities of the Buyer:

Procuring both direct and indirect goods and services
Sourcing new suppliers and finding cost effective options
Negotiating with suppliers and service providers
Proposing ideas for the category plan
Building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners

Personal specification of the Buyer:

Works well under pressure and within a fastpaced environment
Able to adapt to new circumstances and pick up new skills quickly
Strong communication skills, particularly with negotiation
Good level of IT skills
A driven and confident professional with an interest in progression

This position will be suited to you if you have held a role within a purchasing or supply chain team as a: Junior Buyer, Buyer, Purchasing Coordinator, Procurement Coordinator, Purchasing Specialist, Procurement Specialist or similar.
