The Company

Able Bridge Recruitment are exclusively working with an outsourced HR and Employment Law provider in the recruitment of several high profile and key roles within the organisation.

We have been retained by the business to support them in the recruitment of and Employment Adviser who will specialise in supporting a portfolio of companies in relation to their employee handbook's, contracts, policies and procedures on a permanent basis.


The role will can be based out of either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office although the successful applicant will work on a hybrid office/home basis.

Some of these include online yoga, online social forums as well as online book clubs which all facilitate a one team approach across multiple UK locations.


The Responsibilities

The purpose of the employment adviser will be to ensure that our customers clients have high quality, pragmatic advice around core documentation that is the foundation for consistent HR operations within the business.


On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be responsible for the following;

Provide high quality advice and legally compliant documentation to a portfolio of clients to ensure the best advisory services are delivered.

Ensure that relevant and pragmatic advice to clients is timely, efficient, accurate, practical, and commercial.
Adherence to our clients requirements and relevant professional standards in dealings with customers.

Aid clients to achieve their commercial objectives whilst complying with the law or clearly advising on the consequences of none or partial compliance where this is being considered by the client.

To occasionally undertake external client training as required/occasionally deliver training for paralegals/trainees.
To assist with core advice work as and when the need may arise.
To participate in the out of hours advice rota as agreed.


The Requirements

Our client is seeking an experienced HR professional who is confident in providing quality ad insightful advice around key documentation.

We would expect that the successful applicant would have at least 3 years of experience in a similar HR adviser role or come from an employment law (legal) setting.

You will actively be liaising with your client base and supporting their needs when they are required. Applicants will ideally be CIPD level 5/7 qualified or working towards this.

We are expecting applicants to be based on the Scottish Central belt and who have unrestricted ability to work in the UK.
