Our client is an innovative, forward thinking and exciting company who are committed to the assessment, manufacture and provision of specialist seating and mobility products and services to NHS and private clients across the UK.

They have a modern manufacturingfacility at our Totton Head Office that manufactures bespoke specialist wheelchair seating systems. Every seat is individually made and sized to the patient, conforming to the highest quality standards

They are looking for a Workshop Technician to join the team, duties will include:

Work to drawings, diagrams and prescription forms supplied by Clinicians, Workshop Team Leader, Operations Manager and Engineers
You will be involved in the assembly and manufacture of specialist seating systems
Monitor and report on workshop stock levels daily
Ensure all machinery used within the production department is fit for use and all faults are reported to the Workshop Team Leader
Maintaining an organised, clean and tidy work area within the workshop
Provide support where necessary to other colleagues and share techniques that have been obtained through skills and knowledge
Possibility of further training in the Cad/Cam Department

What they are looking for:

Previous experience within manufacturing and/or assembly
Experience within a registered ISO9001 company would be desirable or experience of working within set quality procedures
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Keen attention to detail

What the company can offer:

Monday to Thursday 7.00am4pm with a 30 min lunch break and Friday 7:00am to 1pm
