What you'll do:

This role will be supporting the Group Leader/Value Stream Manager to achieve value stream targets and Hi5 Targets.

Specialist in identifying opportunity for assembly line improvements which will have a positive impact on quality, safety and departmental productivity.

This role will require up to 50% working within day to day production process with contribution to employee performance review.

Coordinate the area of responsivity to ensure Zero Mind and establish continuous improvement approach of the area.

Deliver set operational targets for individual Value stream through problem solving and collaboration with Group lead & Operation team members.

Identify and deliver Operational training inline with employee development plan. Support and run Induction and complete probation period assessments.
Work within production environment to fully understand and identify daily issues with positive approach to fix and resolve.
Act decisively inline with business Operational target and staffing.
Ensure team is compliance to certification and SOP as identified in standard procedures
- report improvements and issues
Lead Communication across own value stream
Assist Group lead in day to day responsibilities as required.
Support relationships and work collaboratively with key stake holders and functional values stream (Supply chain, Planning, Quality and Engineering)
In-depth understanding of the technical process and resolutions to overcome operational issues
Develop pareto analysis of failures to identify opportunities for improvement
Assist with scrap walks and process through actions required
Complete training as required alongside all relevant paperwork to comply with ISO and certification requirements
Timely and accurate processing of information and data
Clarify and enable a process to prioritise action plans to ensure improvement to department efficiency by embracing a CI Culture
Utilize expertise to evaluate current and new process technologies, as well as teaching and training all parts of the manufacturing process to bring team members past expectation levels
Drives continuous operational flow to ensure strong levels of improvement in efficiency, along with recognising and eliminating waste within the process
Meet and drive the Eaton competencies for the role, Zero Incident Workplace Culture, Manufacturing Process Design, Manufacturing Value Stream Success Factors and Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Strategy Development and Execution, EBS Tool Integration, Business Systems and Practices, Program Management


Qualifications:

Secondary school level. Preferred Management foundation.

Ideally 8 years Technical Manufacturing Knowledge
Demonstrated success in Managing production lines
Continuous Improvement Knowledge
Prefer Train the trainer
Understanding of Eaton certification requirement
Competence in creating SOP for Signalling products
Demonstrated ownership in departmental ownership and collaboration


Skills:

Experience in Sounders, Speakers, Call points, and Combination unit build
Ability to teach and train others in core points with in product build
Strong understanding in Certification bodies such as ATEX, UL
clear and concise Drawing interpretation
Expert knowledge in Product Engineering
ability to clearly explain reverse engineering and problem solve different signalling build

Good communicator, able to work well with others, able to plan, organise and prioritise, Proven track record in ability to problem solve and share learning with others
