About Us:

Here at Classroom Recruiters, we specialize in placing dedicated individuals in temporary positions within children's residential homes in the Burton and Swadlincote area.

We work with a variety of homes, each with its own unique environment and challenges, but all sharing the same goal of providing exceptional care to children with special needs.

The Role:

As a Temporary Unqualified Children's Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to work in small dorms alongside experienced teams, providing vital support to children aged 10 to 18 with a range of special needs, from Autism to non-verbal children.

Our homes maintain excellent staff-to-child ratios, ensuring that each child receives the individual attention and care they deserve.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking individuals with boundless energy and a genuine passion for improving the lives of children with special needs. Empathy and resilience are essential qualities, as you'll be faced with challenges and opportunities for growth every day.

While prior experience in the care sector or working with children is beneficial, it's not required - what matters most is your dedication to making a positive impact.

Why This Role is Great:

Working as a Temporary Unqualified Children's Support Worker offers unparalleled flexibility.

You'll have the freedom to choose when you work, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance without committing to a fixed schedule.

Whether you're looking for part-time work or simply want the flexibility to manage your time effectively, this role empowers you to take control of your schedule while still making a meaningful contribution to your community.

About the Children's Homes We Work With:

Our partnered children's homes cater to a diverse range of children with special needs, including Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Difficulties (SEBD) and Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP).

Each home is dedicated to fostering a positive, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop independence.

Your role will be instrumental in supporting these efforts and making a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Qualifications and Experience:

This is an unqualified position, but we're committed to supporting your professional development.

While additional qualifications related to the role are advantageous, we provide opportunities for you to gain them along the way.

Experience in the care sector or working with children with special needs is beneficial but not essential - what matters most is your passion and empathy for the children you'll be supporting.

How We Can Help You Succeed:
Our team is dedicated to helping you reach your full potential.

We offer guidance and support to help you gain the qualifications and experience you need to excel in your role.
