Senior Health and Safety Advisor - Offshore Wind - Contract - Northwest UK


Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a world leader in offshore wind? We have a fantastic Senior Health and Safety Advisor position available on a contractual basis in the Northwest of the UK.


Senior Health and Safety Advisor Responsibilities:
Motivate and coach employees and management at site to improve HS leadership and culture
Provide independent, expert, and professional advice and guidance to site management on all HS issues,
Promote a high standard of quality, health, safety, and environmental awareness and culture


Provide knowledge, systems and guidance dedicated to:
delivery of business-critical products & processes according to quality requirements
support health at work to prevent illness/disease and wear and tear to workers
support safety at work in order to prevent injury to workers due to accidents

Minimise environmental impact according to stakeholder requirements, permits and legal requirements
Develop and maintain management system processes (standards, procedures, tools and training)
Continually develop of a safe system of work at RNO, including improving safety of machinery, maintaining risk assessments, relevant processes, procedures and instructions


About you:

5 + years' experience within QHSE, ideally in process/production environment
Relevant academic or technical background
Completed JOSH course, NEBOSH General or similar
Good analytic skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Highly conscientious and diligent
Understanding of QHSE Management Systems
