Legionella Risk Assessor - Exeter - £28,000 - £32,000

Our client, an established Water company specialising in Water Hygiene and Legionella are now recruiting

We are on the hunt for an experienced and qualified
Legionella Risk Assessor to tackle the South west region.

Their work is recognised and praised in the private and public sector, and they have been around for approx. 30 years.


Although they are not a giant in the industry, they certainly have made their mark and offer successful Legionella Risk Assessors a great benefits package which contributes to their high staff retention rate.


Key duties of the Legionella Risk Assessor:

  • Legionella risk assessments ensuring ACOP L8 guidelines are followed.
  • Completing regular water sampling and temperature testing.
  • Producing reports and schematic drawings.
  • Liaise with clients and customers.

They will also be carrying out additional plumbing duties such as:

  • TMV servicing
  • Dead leg removals
  • Pipe work
  • Remedial work

Experience required for the Legionella Risk Assessor:

  • 3+ years working as a Legionella Plumber/Risk Assessor.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • City & Guilds in Legionella and/or Plumbing (or equivalent)
  • Awareness of ACOP L8 and HSG27
  • Excellent communications skills verbal and written
  • Willing to commute within the South West and potentially other regions if/when required.
  • Ability to work in a team alongside independently.
