    Job Title: Medical Receptionist

    About the Role:
    We are seeking a highly organized and effective communicator to join our busy GP practice as the first point of contact for patients, contractors, and visitors. As a Medical Receptionist, you will handle administrative and reception duties, ensuring efficient, courteous, and high-quality service in line with our established processes, policies, and procedures.

    Main Responsibilities:
    • Manage telephone, in-person, and electronic inquiries
    • Schedule and update appointments and home visits
    • Relay clinical information to patients
    • Process repeat prescriptions

    Key Requirements:
    • GCSEs at grade C (or 4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths
    • General office skills, photocopier, scanning, shredding
    • Awareness of Data Protection Act and need for confidentiality of Information
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
