Description

Established for over 40 years and now one of the North West's leading& multi award winning Engineering companies, WEC Group Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Estimator to be based in Darwen.

This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and dynamic person to thrive, working within our Engineering division.

Responsibilities

Primarily an estimating position responding to live enquiries
Reviewing enquiries and liaising directly with customers
Producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from customer drawings
Inputting all information on to the computer system in order to produce full quotations
Gaining feedback/winning orders post quotation submission
Building relationships with customer to get repeat enquiries

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Ability to read and interpret customer engineering drawings
Conversant in welding & fabrication techniques
Previous experience within a similar role, ideally within medium and large scale metal fabrication
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with both suppliers and customers
Fully computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office

Working Location/Environment
Darwen, Lancashire

Working Hours:

8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
