Upcoming long term English teaching role at a Manchester based secondary school:
English Language and Literature specialist starting on Monday 20th March for the remainder of the academic year


This reputable, good graded co-educational secondary school situated in the central Manchester area is looking to recruit an English teacher to join their English department from Monday 20th March 2023.

The successful English teacher is required to jointhis well known and reputable secondary school as a result of an upcoming planned long-term absence with the current English teacher due be off having had an operation.

The appointed English teacher will be teaching English (both Language and Literature) toGCSE level.

  • Pay will be in line with pay scale ranging between: £28,000 and £43,685 per annum (pro-rata)
  • Full time English teaching position starting on Monday 20th March or Monday 17th April for the right person
  • Duration until the end of the academic year (Thursday 20th July)
  • Teach AQA English Language and English Literature up to GCSE level
  • Highly reputable and well regarded secondary school situated in the central Manchester area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
