The Department of Primary Care and Mental Health within the Institute of Population Health, is looking for a high achieving early career researcher and future leader in their field to enhance research activity within the Liverpool Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsychol) programme.

It is the Department¿s aim to embed clinical psychology across all of its activity. The Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is a well-established training programme that includes academic, research, and clinical components.

All trainees undertake a doctoral level piece of research that is aligned with the core research themes in the Department of Primary Care and Mental Health and wider Institute.

We have a track record of conducting high impact research in mental health and global mental health, eating disorders, older adults and dementia, clinical forensic psychology, and health psychology.

For the DClinPsychol programme, experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies would be particularly beneficial. you will undertake a varied range of duties within the DClinPsychol programme contributing to teaching and project supervision. You will have a psychology undergraduate degree and a PhD in a relevant discipline.

At the end of year three, you will be reviewed for confirmation in a permanent academic position.
