MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Transformation Support Assistant at Tameside & Glossop NHS FT will support the Transformation Team to: Provide project, transformation and improvement support to the Transformation Team including supporting and enabling delivery of the Trusts key transformation programmes and projects; Provide administrative support to the Transformation Team including organising and coordinating transformation programme and project meetings and events; Support and enable the development of the Trusts improvement processes to be promoted and provided effectively including development and maintenance of the team microsite, organising and supporting delivery of training and briefings, coordinating annual reports and Trust awards Communications Undertake duties as required to enable delivery of the Trusts key transformation priorities directed / requested by the Head of Transformation, Senior Transformation Manager, Transformation Managers and Transformation Project Manager to support the delivery and implementation of distinct improvement programmes projects.

Provide a professional, proactive and responsive service to programme and project stakeholders across the organisation and the wider health and care economy.

Support Transformation Managers, and Transformation Project Manager engaging with project stakeholders across a range of project, business change and improvement tasks and activities.

Develop often complex written and verbal communications in conjunction with the Head of Transformation, Senior Transformation Manager, Transformation Managers and Transformation Project Manager to engage programme stakeholders in a variety of formats utilising a range of communication channels and platforms.

Working with different services and stakeholder groups, often at a system level, to coordinate activity. This includes broad range of planning activities across a range of services, eg.

monitoring engagement, tracking and monitoring programme and project plans, developing plans Taking early and proactive action to ensure project delivery in line with required milestones and Support the team in the management, update and maintenance of project plans, risk and issues logs, communication plans and other documentation relating to improvement projects.

Provide improvement and project support to a wide variety of transformation projects in line with Trusts improvement process and project management approach, where required.


Prepare and maintain often complex project documentation using the Trusts Excel project workbooks and associated reports, logs and risk and issues registers.

Organise and co-ordinate project meetings, including creating agendas, taking minutes and actions, adapting / updating project plans.

Arrange and plan improvement events, managing event administration, documentation, personnel and attendees, collating and disseminating event materials and supporting Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload allocated by the Head of Transformation, Senior Transformation Manager, Transformation Managers and Transformation Project Manager and respond effectively to changing priorities as required by the team.

Coordinate, prepare and disseminate often complex documentation in relation to improvement projects and their associated meetings.

Support the team by managing diaries, including scheduling and co-ordinating meetings, appointments and events as required.

Provide accurate and high quality secretariat support to programme and project boards and meetings, including developing and planning meeting schedules, liaising with a range of stakeholders across different organisation, planning and preparing agendas, taking and disseminating minutes and actions in a timely manner to provide an accurate reflection of key decisions and actions.

Source and gather information to assist the team in prioritising their workload effectively to ensure deadlines are achieved. Contribute to the corporate management style of the team to develop, implement and maintain effective office systems and procedures.


Assist the team in the preparation of presentations and reports, including diagrams and graphs using a variety of technology and software packages.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of a webpage for the team, liaising with the relevant departments across the organisation.

Support the team in the development and regular production of a variety of media to communicate the work of the team to the wider organisation (e.g. Team Newsletters and social media).
