Technology Support Specialist (Sabre) (Remote)

  • Full time, UK_


As the Operations Technology Specialist, you will provide first-line ops and client travel technology support to all virtual Travel Agents or in-office areas of responsibility.

In this role you will be responsible for improving available time for virtual employees for client technology, product support and shared services.


As a Technology Support Specialist, you will

  • Follow the established process to monitor and resolve technical support cases and provide tracking
  • Partner with technology teams to resolve and escalate cases
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and other client and operations technology
  • Manage system status, taking steps to improve performance, and reliability as directed and per established policies and procedures
  • Assist other technical teams (handson support)
  • Follow security best practices

About you

  • Extensive experience in the travel industry with proficiency in Sabre GDS
  • Understanding of BCD Travel frontmidand backoffice processes, this includes online systems and Central Ticketing
  • Strong problem solving and process reengineering skills, ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience in process management (design, document and implement processes)
  • Great empathy for customer needs and patience with demanding customers
