Description

The SEND Assessment Lead will act as the operational lead for the delivery of first time Education, Health and Care Plan assessments, ensuring the process fulfils the legal obligations set out in line with the Education Act 1996 and Children and Families Act 2014.

The post reports to the Service Manager for SEND Casework, beneath the Head of SEND.

They will manage up to 6 SEND Case Officers and 2 Assistant Case Officers.

This is an attractive role for someone with previous management experience and sound knowledge of the operations that drive a successful, efficient and effective SEND Assessment team.

Rate:
£300-£375 per day
