What will you be doing?


The Business Process Architect role is part of the Radical Simplification & Automation (RSA) team who are responsible for driving Vodafone UK to become a more lean and effective digitalised and automated organisation.


The Business Process Architect will work with Process Owner and SME's involved in the end to end processes to drive to the desired outcome.


The role holder will effectively capture, document and manage business need, including shaping and scoping ideas, aligning to business strategy and business goals, eliciting business requirements and benefits, and ensuring traceability of requirements throughoutthe project lifecycle.

This role holder will also accurately assess business architecture impact, including the impact of change on existing processes, organisation and technology.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop relationships with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts and transformation project leads throughout Vodafone to understand taxonomies, portfolio, transformation paths and commercials
  • Lead benefit case analysis and feed output into business cases by utilising information from our sales, customer services, customer experience, commercial management, product management and finance teams, to support product and transformation projects.
  • Identify and document transformation development and dependencies, including supporting the production of the business case and funding, helping to building plans and schedules, supporting implementation activities and helping to ensure quality managementfor the projects (maintaining and managing the traceability matrixes)
  • Identify and document Business, network and IT dependencies across our Operational, Technology and IT teams. Ensure integration of this information with programme timelines to identify any gaps and conflicts for transformation projects
  • Deep dive analysis on business requirements, problem statements, revenues, customer segments, customers, products and all associated data
  • Production of As Is and To Be processes using tools like ARIS or other process mapping tools
  • Create and sustain collaborative working relationships with other stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Work with testing and operational teams to ensure they understand the business requirements/outcomes desired
  • Work with the Scrum master and Product Owner to ensure that all Business Change activities are understood and being managed

Who are we looking for?

  • Strong experience in the Business Process Architect space; demonstrable experience of radically changing and improving business process
  • Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Worked on setting strategies;understanding of data taxonomies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex issues simply and with impact both verbally and in writing
  • Strong customer focus
  • Has some experience in large complex organisations
