Apprenticeship Assessor

Pertemps Work Based Learning are currently working in partnership alongside a fantastic training provider who deliver apprenticeship programmes within Financial Services.

They are rated as 'Good' by Ofsted, and due to a period of growth they are now lookingto bring on an Apprenticeship Assessor.

Working alongside the delivery team, the Assessor with work directly with learners in order to guide them towards End Point Assessment.

The role is purely remote, so all engagement with learners with be via Teams.
Looking for an individual with strong experience in assessing and an enthusiastic personality in order to motivate learners
- £26,000 - £30,000

Duties and Responsibilities of the Apprenticeship Assessor:

  • Build relationships with learners, in order to support their progression through to End Point Assessment.
  • Work in collaboration with the tutor.
  • Set, mark and assess work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
  • Proactively monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
  • Manage own diary, ensuring regular contact with the learners.
  • Keep up to date with quality frameworks, policies, and procedures. Conducting all assessment practice to the highest standards.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications for the Apprenticeship Assessor:

  • Assessor's Award (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
  • Experience in assessing, and knowledge of the End Point Assessment criteria.
  • Excellent IT Skills and proficiency in using E-Portfolio's and Online Learning and Assessment platforms.
  • Experience assessing apprenticeship learners to level 4, ideally within Professional service apprenticeship qualifications e.g Business Administration, Leadership and Management
  • Experience in using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Skype is highly desirable.
  • An enthusiastic, engaging personality in order to help motivate learners.
