We are advertising for a Summer Pharmacy Assistant, ideal for a student to assist two of our pharmacies in Scarborough.

As a pharmacy member you will be an important member of the teams, giving great service and helping to create loyal customers that come back time and time again.

The position would be ideal for a self motivated University Student or college leaver with interests in the Community Pharmacy sector.

The post holder will work with customers on the counter and also assist the pharmacist and staff in the dispensing of medication

Main duties will include:

Assist in the sale of over the counter medicines
Complete prescription receipt and collection
Ordering, receiving and storing pharmaceutical stock
Liaising with customers in all areas of sales including specialised products providing a highly personalised approach
Managing stock levels, replenishing and cleaning sales areas
Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against orders and inform supervisor of stock needs and shortages
Processing payments of various kinds, using the till
Assisting in the reconciliation of the till
To maintain a clean and tidy working environment
