  • SpeedyBooker is an online travel business based in the centre of beautiful Bury St Edmunds, with exciting plans for the future.
  • Our bookings platform, internally developed over ten years, also powers third party partner websites.

The role:


As a Brand, Content, and Social Executive, you will play a vital role in creating engaging content, managing social media channels, overseeing customer relationship management (CRM), and creating paid social adverts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance brand visibility, drive consumer engagement and maintain strong customer relationships.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for marketing and a desire to grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Brand Strategy: Support the development and execution of brand strategies, ensuring consistency across all communication channels. Collaborate with the marketing team to define brand positioning, key messaging, and tone of voice, and contribute to the creation of brand guidelines to maintain a cohesive brand identity.
  • Content Creation: Generate compelling blog content that aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and messaging. Conduct thorough research on trends and target audience preferences to develop informative and engaging articles, ensuring highquality and consistent content production.
  • Social Media Management: Assist in managing social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to maintain an active and engaging online presence. Create and schedule social media content, create visual assets, monitor community engagement, and respond to inquiries or comments promptly.
  • Paid Social Adverts: Create and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility, drive website traffic, and achieve marketing objectives. Collaborate with the marketing team to define targeting criteria, develop compelling ad copy and visuals, and optimise campaign performance based on analytics and insights.
  • Design Skills: Possess basic design skills to create or modify visual assets for marketing purposes. This includes creating simple graphics, resizing images, and ensuring visual consistency across various marketing channels. In the future, this could extend to user experience (UX) design work for our websites and systems.
  • Content marketing: we do not currently do any content marketing but in the future we may decide to be more proactive in this area, mainly in B2B fields.
  • B2B Affiliate Partnerships, where we share our commission with other websites which obtain bookings on our behalf. This will involve actively approaching and signing up potential partners, as well as managing our existing partners to maximise bookings.

Requirements:


Must have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in content creation, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience with social media management and scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and experience in managing customer data and relationships.
  • Basic design skills to create or modify visual assets.
  • Experience in creating and managing paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Creative mindset and a passion for staying uptodate with industry trends and innovations.

Nice to have:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of analytics platforms to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
Up to £35,000.00 per year
