The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our dynamic Mouldshop, featuring cutting-edge Arburg Injection Moulding machines (60 to 150T) and Extrusion Blow Moulding Machines (0.5L to 5L).

This role is perfect for a hands-on professional, eager to lead a close-knit team in a clean, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues, optimizing, and updating settings for injection and extrusion blow moulding machines.
• Perform quality checks and maintain accurate production documentation.
• Update production management software ensuring smooth shift handover.
• Support technicians with tool changes and machine setups.
• Clean down of machines and material handling equipment as required.
• Manage and mentor a team of operators, ensuring seamless production shifts.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure goods are delivered on time and in full.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Uphold strict health and safety standards throughout the facility.
• Proven experience in either injection or blow mould setting if not both, with a willingness to crosstrain if not.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a minimum of 5 years in the plastics industry.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
• Knowledge of Quality Control procedures and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Rotating 2 week shifts (Afternoons 1210pm and Nights 10pm8am, Monday-Thursday, no weekends).

Pay:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
