Senior Java Developer (Java Spring Microservices Linux Docker Kubernetes) - Established Global Ecommerce

Fully remote (anywhere in the UK) - £70,000 - £80,000 + benefits


Applause IT are working closely with a global ecommerce business to build out their expanding engineering team, recruiting a Senior Java Developer.

They are well established but are experiencing rapid growth, and now operate in over 40 countries sellingmillions of products to customers worldwide.


We are looking for a Java specialist, keen to take responsibility of their work and with strong knowledge of Object Oriented Principles.

The successful Java Developer should have an expert-level understanding of Java, its virtual machine, and its surroundingsoftware ecosystem.

The successful Senior Java Developer should have experience of:

  • Java / Spring
  • RESTful web services
  • Solid understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
