Title:
Food Production Operative / Warehouse Assistant


The Best Connection are currently recruiting multiple Food Production Operative's for a new seasonal opportunity we have starting in the Chichester area; starting in April, ongoing until the end of September.


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:


  • To quality check produce along a conveyor line in a cleanroom environment
  • Pack carts/Production trollies to the required standard and in accordance with required volumes.
  • Record, report food wastage
  • Ensure production schedules are met.
  • Support other departments and teams when and where required to maintain production/dispatch schedule.
  • All products meet the required standard before continuing along production
  • Adhere to clean as you go standard

Skills and Knowledge:


  • Team player with good communication, basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • A can do, positive working attitude

Working hours:


  • 3 on, 3 off operating shift across a 7 day working week, 6am to 7pm

Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
