ACCOUNTABLE TO - Senior, Shift Manager, Home Manager


PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings as and when required.

Be aware of and at all times comply with all Company rules, policies and procedures including statutory requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act, Care Standards and relevant

Regulations.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure that there is a high standard of cleanliness within the home at all times
  • Follow all policies & procedures with regard to Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH etc
  • Ensure safe storage & use of cleaning materials and equipment at all times
  • To follow daily routine and prioritise work tasks professionally
  • Report any faults or defects to Senior, Care Manager or Home Manager and remove as necessary
  • Ensure stock is checked weekly and used appropriately

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

  • Complete all mandatory training and all other training within The Cheshire Residential
Homes Trust and keep up to date as determined by organisational & legislative requirement

  • To assist any new staff as requested by your Line Manager

TEAM PARTICIPATION

  • To assist the Manager & Care Manager/Senior with other tasks as required
  • Be part of the team by attending and participating in meetings & training sessions
  • To develop good working relationships with staff in the home and outside agencies
  • Ensure the home is a safe place to live & work following health & safety procedures
  • Respond to emergencies as appropriate

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.92-£11.32 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
