THE ROLE:


We are looking for an ambitious intern with an interest in current affairs, creating societal change and supporting businesses to overcome problems to join our growing team at Stonehaven.

An intern will work across the company helping to support a range of clients and account teams. This means the ability to quickly digest information, ideas and debates and then convert them into concise, informative briefs.

Interns are exposed to the full range of our research and communications activities.

You will be encouraged to explore the areas of the company you find most interesting meaning your role will change as you develop your skills and interests.

Interns work closely with the whole team and will gain unique insight from leading industry experts.


You will be responsible for

  • Helping the analyst team provide daytoday support on client accounts
  • Monitoring and creating briefings on political events, and providing your own analysis
  • Desk based research to support client accounts and new business pitches
  • Supporting your team with administration such as meeting agendas/minutes, monthly reports
  • Creating weekly press coverage reports on specific issues and policies
  • Contacting important stakeholders, such as MPs, journalists, and businesses to help promote campaigns and gather intel
  • Developing an awareness of general trends, relevant news stories, specific opportunities
  • Creative thinking supporting the team with campaign ideation and planning

PERSON PROFILE:


  • Excited by how our offering can deliver change for our clients
  • Enthusiasm to learn about using behavioural insight to build strategic communications campaigns
  • An interest in current affairs and keeping abreast of the latest developments in politics, business, and global trends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to build relationships and work well in a team
  • The ability to work efficiently on multiple projects and to deadlines
  • Research and writing skills and the ability to think creatively

  • The internship is for 6 months, ideally starting in January 202
  • You will be paid London Living Wage (£13.15 / hour)
