Role Overview:
The Project Co-ordinator plans, monitors and manages large-scale projects from initiation through completion and leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting and people management.
This role ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost, and monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Requires indepth knowledge and experience
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
- Works independently, receives mínimal guidance
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
- Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build agreement
Requirements:
- Environmental Sciences related qualification
- Previous experience with clients
- Proven experience using Geographic Information System (GIS Software) and Microsoft Excel to analyse and present
