Description

We are looking for inspirational teachers to help deliver English, Science and Maths lessons to Korean Key Stage 2 & 3 students around the world (mostly Koreans but with a plan to expand).

We are looking to expand and scale our offerings in English literature in the form of a book club including literature discussion and comprehension across Key-stages 2 and 3.

In particular, the position requires lessons centred around the discussion and analysisof selected texts, books, and book sections.

For example, the Harry Potter series, Roald Dahl, classics and so on - together with reading comprehension questions, written book reviews and reports.

Students will be from within the UK, from international schoolsabroad, and may include non-native speakers with advanced English abilities. Some vocabulary work (expansion and comprehension) is expected as part of the class. We are also looking for English 11&13+ preparation tutors, GCSE and A-Level English (Language& Literature).


In Science, we are looking to recruit teachers for 11&13+ test preparation, GCSE and A level Science across chemistry, physics, and biology, and to teach Science at Key stages 2 & 3.

In Maths, we are looking for new teachers to teach across Key-stages 2& 3, 11&13+, GCSE and A-Level.

As an Online Teacher, you will be working from home via the internet.

Lessons are one to two hours long and mainly take place during the day, Monday to Friday, although some evening and weekend lessons may be available.


Tutors can be located anywhere in the country, which allows flexibility in location, if you are in a quiet, professional environment with access to good quality internet.


To be successful for this role, Teachers must:

  • Be based in the UK
  • Have a relevant degree, or be working towards one
  • Have good IT skills and be prepared to learn new software and systems
  • Be flexible and reliable
  • Be able to communicate clearly
  • Be able to commit to teaching at the same time each day/week

Successful applicants will ideally:

- have teaching experience

Please note that to deliver lessons online, applicants will need:

  • A stable broadband connection
  • A computer
  • And a headset with microphone
Salary for the role of Tutor: £30 - £70 per teaching hour.
