Overview of role
***A great entry opportunity into your career in media in a planning and management function, as part of a wider team, you will be a key linchpin in the day to day administrative function supporting your clients growth through our agency. Working with your line management to ensure the smooth running of the account from an operational and administrative perspective. Helping deliver operational excellence and ensuring the fundamentals of our client responsibilities around administration, operational efficiency, reporting and financials of the day to day activities are delivered to the highest standards. You will be connecting with junior level clients and are responsible for supporting the efficient day to day running of our clients business working with our Account Managers and Account Directors. You will get the opportunity to learn media communications skills from the ground up in the biggest integrated agency outside of London.

Measures of success

In three months, you would have:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the media landscape and how our client schedules are built and formulated. Introduction to client's data sources and the tools we use to asses clients performance and take a wider look at the environment in which they operate.

In six months, you would have:
  • Be successfully running the administrative side of your clients business, supporting your line management in the delivery of client schedules, competitive reporting, data analysis delivery, and upkeep and delivery of WIP reports. Being visible in client meetings, contact reporting, delivering status updates and ensuring outputs are captured and shared and the account is moving forward.

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Been able to juggle the administrative side of your client's business with the ability to input into the thinking driving client's schedules and working with investment teams to deliver and successfully report on campaign success. Be a visible regular contributor in client meetings and run sections of meetings on your own.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Responsibility for the smooth running of the administrative side of your clients business within your group.
  • Supporting the team with the provision of accurate reporting insights, competitive data and market information to support the decision making and direction of travel with the senior team
  • Build a good working knowledge of all media channels, their operation and how their clients utilise them to deliver growth.
  • Good financial management playing an important role in the month end billing and smooth running of the financial health of your accounts.
  • Responsible for collating PO's and sign offs to ensure we comply with SOX procedures
  • Ensuring that all schedules are fully populated and an accurate representation of the activity secured.
  • Collating monthly / quarterly competitive reports and sharing with narrative to highlight key insights.
  • Build a strong understanding of your client's business and the wider sector in which they operate and a view on their competitors
  • Build strong working relationships and ways of working with your junior investment counterparts and own the schedules you work on.
  • Be responsible for all weekly and monthly client performance reports including prompt delivery from investment teams, checking and sending to clients
  • Start to build knowledge of desktop research & planning tools (e.g. TGI, AdIntel, Google Analytics) and their role in the planning process, producing useful outputs for the team.
