Transport Compliance Manager

Ellesmere Port

Up to £38,000 DOE


Job Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee, coordinate and manage the transport compliance team
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Ensure all operational activities are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance
  • Provide guidance and advice to the transport team on compliance
  • Develop and implement transport compliance policies and procedures
  • Monitor and review existing practices to ensure compliance
  • Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
  • Analyse and report on transport compliance data
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience within transport
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent management and organisational skills
  • Strong understanding of Drivers hours, tacographs and WTD Legislation
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Systems including planning systems, fleet management systems and trailer tracking systems
