Working for a growing and expanding organisation based in Harrogate working as part of an established finance team and reporting ultimately to the Head of Finance you will play a key role in all aspects of the finance function with a view to long termprogression and development.

The main duties of the role are to include:

  • To input all purchase invoices on to NetSuite & to review purchase ledger balances, including raising purchase orders where applicable
  • To manage relationships with suppliers on a daily basis including owning and managing the accounts mailbox
  • To prepare payment runs including obtaining relevant authorisations from Budget holders
  • To process and account for expense claims across the business
  • To assist the UK Finance Manager with the month end management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations including Fixed Assets and analysis of marketing spend
  • To assist the UK Finance Manager with month end reporting of merchant fees and check out methods by category (Eg PayPal, Shopify, Klarna)
  • To prepare the relevant analysis for WEEE and FCA reporting for review by the UK Finance Manager
  • To assist the Management Accountant with VAT reporting on a quarterly basis
  • To assist the Management Accountant with card analysis on a monthly basis as part of the month end close process
  • To journal & to correct transactions
  • General accounting activities including assisting with the Australia and Europe accounting where required


  • General Office Assistance

  • Printing T & Cs, Copying & scanning documents, filing
  • Ad hoc reporting requests (Eg Supplier spend analysis)
  • Excellent timekeeping and timemanagement
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • IT skills, including competent use of Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP system and Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- (including pivot tables if possible)

  • Able to work both conscientiously without supervision and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
