Description

Graham MacGregor are an established Joinery/Contractors based in Dingwall and carrying out works all over the Highlands.

Projects include new house builds, extensions, maintenance and repairs working for private customers as well as the Highland Council and housing associations.

We are looking for joiners to work on New Build and House renovations.

Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture
Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand tools and power tools
Install wooden components such as stairs, cabinets, and countertops
Plumb and level structures to ensure proper alignment
Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks
Repair or replace damaged wooden structures or components
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects
Follow building plans to meet specifications
We will consider Self employed Joiners.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter
Proficient in working with various types of wood and materials
Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Basic knowledge of other trades such as masonry, painting, electrical, etc. is a plus
