Exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our team at HMP Askham Grange, a female prison in Askham Richard, York.

HMP Askham Grange is an open prison that serves women prisoners and young offenders, allowing mothers to care for their children while in custody. It also provides resettlement support for residents.

Hours:

  • Working Monday to Friday, 3 or 4 days
  • Clinical hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm
  • Part-time role, 28 hours/week, earning up to £53,077 per year based on experience

What You'll Do:
  • Manage the clinical and operational aspects of the primary care team
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans
  • Conduct clinical audits and ensure service obligations are met

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with NMC qualification
  • Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration

  • Line management and mentorship experience
  • Knowledge of governance, health & safety, and national standards
