We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
Cyber Security Tutor to join our team in Coventry.


Job Summary:


Your role will be to deliver engaging and inspirational programmes leading to defined outcomes for learners in accordance with PET-Xi's company values and which meet prescribed internal and external standards, in accordance with the detailed specification agreed with the particular client, funder and awarding organisation.


Key Role:

To transfer the knowledge skills and behaviours required to meet the Cyber Security Technician Standard


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Follow the Rules and Procedures for Training Staff
  • Deliver the agreed programme in accordance with the lesson plan
  • Primarily delivering vocational qualifications in the tutor role, but assessing where required
  • Ensure that every completing learner has an evidential Folder of Evidence ready and marked for moderation where appropriate
  • Work with learners onetoone as required via catchup sessions where required
  • Where applicable, assist in the writing and development of materials under instruction of The Head of Curriculum
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and training to any other staff on the course
  • Ensure good housekeeping at the programme venue/online and compliance with local health and safety requirements or PET-Xi remote delivery guidelines and rules
  • Where necessary refer complaints immediately to the Vocational Delivery Manager
  • Read and act on IQA reports
  • Read and act accordingly to learner profiles as necessary
  • Ensure all requirements for OFSTED are met in accordance with instructions from the Head of People and Ofsted
  • Attend meetings as necessary in accordance with job requirements and company needs
  • Participate in Training and Development as required
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of any children, young people and vulnerable adults the post holder may come into contact with during your employment at PET-Xi Training Limited.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Presentation, written and verbal.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage own diary.

Education / Qualifications

  • L4 or above in Cyber security
  • L3 teaching qualification (or working towards) (Essential)
  • L3 assessor qualification (Essential)
