Salary:
£43,373 plus dependant on skills and experience


What you'll be doing:


  • Project management of the SSNA Enterprise level communications strategy and related activity plan, liaising with communications advisors in each of the four partner organisations across the private and public sector
  • Delivering communications projects and/or initiatives in accordance with the communications strategy including programme events, such as roadshows and leadership conferences
  • Working with communications advisors across four partner organisations to produce material for delivery in a variety of forms including editorials, articles, video presentations and blogs, including exploring additional channels that do not rely on traditional facetoface engagement
  • Acting as trusted advisor to enable the senior leadership group to consciously set the right tone of voice in dissemination of key messages, aligned with our values and ways of working
  • Project management of the stakeholder management strategy and related activity plan for the SSNA programme, working in liaison with each of the four partner organisations to track engagement with stakeholders, build effective engagement collateral and understand stakeholders' view on the SSNA programme
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key internal/external contacts across each of the four partner organisations to effectively deliver and evolve our stakeholder engagement and communications approaches.

Your skills and experiences:


Essential:

  • Graduate level qualification in project management, communications, engineering/construction, or demonstrable equivalent work experience
  • Experience in complex programmes or projects
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, companies and grade structures, and facilitating/influencing decision making at these levels

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the UK Defence Sector and Submarines Enterprise
  • Events management i.e., experience of overseeing and/or facilitating key strategic events
