CSS Europe are hiring for a dynamic
Asset Management Transformation Consultantto oversee and co-ordinate a major asset labelling project within the Fire and Rescue sector, based in London (HQ based in Lichfield, Staffordshire) on a 6-month fixed contract basis.

As our Asset Management Transformation Consultant, you will work across the whole of London in this exciting and challenging role.

You will be working with fire services professionals to ensure that lifesaving assets across London fire stations are properly tracked and stored.

You will be provided with full training with our implementation team so that you are able to confidently carry out your duties.

You will be expected to take a proactive role in liaising with Fire and Rescue professionals to ensure high standards and efficiency are achieved.

Please note:
A reasonable level of physical fitness is required for this role as some manual handling is involved.

Responsibilities:_

• Daily travelling to fire stations and warehouses in the Greater London area
• Overseeing, advising on, and implementing an innovative asset management solution for the efficient management of fire appliances and warehouses alike.
• Collaborating with the project team to ensure consistency of labelling of all manner of fire appliances and other stock inventory.
• Coordinating with fire service personnel and facility managers, to ensure smooth operations and efficient implementation.
• A strong focus on safety, ensuring that all asset management activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and protocols.
• Ensuring compliance with all required safety standards
• Supervising a labelling operative

Required Skills:_

• Previous experience in Fire & Rescue Services is essential.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a new role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for label printing and data input.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel throughout Greater London area.
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Desirable:_

• Some IT Experience preferrable
• GCSE or equivalent (preferred), A Levels or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to undergo 4week training period at HQ (Lichfield, Staffordshire) including paid for accommodation during training period.

CSS offer 20 days of annual leave pro rata, with all statutory days on top (pro rata).

£30,000-£35,000 per year pro rata for fixed term - (Please note that salary is London weighted)
