Logistics Operative - Leeds, United Kingdom - Sycous Limited
Description
You will work alongside our current small Warehouse Team, providing day-to-day support (internally and externally) and seeking to quickly and effectively resolve queries as they arise.
You will be responsible for the dispatch of deliveries to customers and our in-house engineering team.
We are looking for someone who will take pride in their work and be willing to learn and develop new skills, whilst also offering new ideas and methods.
Key Responsibilities
Support our Warehouse Team
- Accepting stock deliveries
- Unloading, checking and booking stock in on our database and locating the stock correctly
- Stock counting
- Picking, packing, labelling and dispatch
- Keeping the Warehouse clean and tidy and recycling as appropriate
- Be willing to learn about the different stock we carry
- Purchasing activities, including obtaining best price quotations
- Must take responsibility for punctuality and be of a tidy appearance
- Be able to work under pressure at our busy times
- Update different stock and ordering systems
- Communicate with colleagues, customers, couriers and suppliers about orders and deliveries.
- Working with our Projects team to effectively deliver stock to our engineering/field team
- We are looking for someone who is reliable, who works proactively with our Clients and their Consumers to deliver exceptional levels of customer service and who maintains a high level of accuracy in everything they do.
