Customer Service Supervisor
Based in Eirth

Salary range:
£27,500 - £32,000 per annum

Monday to Friday


The small but growing team at Meridian is looking for a confident and experienced Customer Service Supervisor to join their busy team.

Meridian Technical Services Ltd is a 20-year-old company specialising in the periodic pressure testing and refilling of high-pressure cylinders for the fire suppression industry.

It's a busy and friendly place to work with a mix of staff in the office, workshop technicians and drivers.

Meridian is also part of a global group specialising in aviation safety and holders of Investors in People accreditation.


The role of Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for managing customer relations and organising and co-ordinating all office operations and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.


Essential & Highly Desirable Requirements:

2+ years experience in office based, customer facing role

Experience in technical or engineering / manufacturing / trades / automotive type industry

Experience Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel etc)

Self motivated, positive attitude and integrity


Key responsibilities and accountabilities:


Maintain Office Services
Help Design and Implement Office policies with QA, Operations, General and other mangers.

Promote and improve established standards and procedures for customer service responses and clerical roles.

Provide quotations to customers, follow up leads and gather accurate technical information to pass onto the Operations team.

Ensure the General Manager has accurate and timely information available to them.

Organize office operations and procedures to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Supervise a member of staff to ensure the highest standards are met in customer service and clerical functions.

Motivate, encourage, and lead the office staff to meet organizational KPI's.

Organise and schedule the efficient use of the company vehicle fleet and external providers for deliveries and collections around the world

Attend daily Operations meetings as representative of Meridian Customers.

Attend regular weekly meetings with SLT providing updates on customer satisfaction and concerns, staffing and new orders.

Supervise Office staff

Assign and monitor clerical and customer service functions.

Orient and train employees

Provide on the job and other training opportunities.

Evaluate staff performance.

Coach and discipline staff.


Maintain Office Records
Ensure filing systems are maintained and are up to date including scanning files and updating electronic records.

Ensure compliance with all policies for record keeping and statutory regulations

Ensure the protection and security of files and records.


Maintain Office Efficiency
Plan and implement office systems, layout, and equipment.

Maintain and replenish office inventory.

Anticipate needed supplies.
