Description

Kneesworth House is a mental health hospital situated in Cambridgeshire (on the borders of Hertfordshire) with good commuting access to / from London.

The hospital has a full pathway of care including medium, low secure, locked rehabilItation and open recovery wards situated across the site.

The Assistant Psychologist post includes:

To assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving the psychological treatment and/or management of a service user's problems, under the supervision of a qualified psychologist
To assist in the coordination and cofacilitation of therapeutic groups as appropriate.
Assists with the planning, delivery and review of onetoone sessions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist
Maintains accurate and uptodate records in the form of case notes, case files, clinical reports and other associated documentation presenting and sharing relevant information with colleagues, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
To attend and contribute to appropriate multidisciplinary meetings as and when required.
To support and undertake data collection and analysis, for both the purposes of research and service evaluation. This may include collecting and reviewing a variety of data such as psychometric scores, interview data, historical information, literature searches. It may also involve data analysis and report writing under supervision
To support and contribute to the training and support of other staff.
