Description

The Adecco Public Sector team have been engaged to source a Commercial Business Partner for a government organisation. This is a 6-12 months contract with a day rate up to £600 a day inside IR35.

You will work within an integrated commercial functional team supporting the Digital, Data and Technology Directorate (DDaT) as their main customer to support the delivery of DDaT projects through advice and expertise on DDaT procurement and commercial solutions and leading all commercial matters and procurements.

This role provides a unique opportunity to lead commercially on a wide variety of projects in a variety of policy areas and corporate programmes.

The role holder is expected to lead on projects for the Commercial Transformation Project.

Responsibilities:

Provide professional procurement advice and assist the Head of Commercial Operations to provide a framework that enables the Business Areas to ensure the department meets any and all central government requirements
Engage and influence stakeholders across the department so that they support the commercial strategy and visibly commit to its successful implementation;
Take personal responsibility; challenge and hold stakeholders to account, create an environment that acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement; help us to develop innovative commercial solutions to meet Departmental objectives and increase efficiency whilst operating with a high degree of technical competence;
Play a role in the implementation and improvements of commercial systems and shared services for the department. You will work with stakeholders to implement strategies that support government initiatives as well as ensuring that the department can maximise its use of resources;
Exercise a procurement project utilising CCS Frameworks
